BHP Corporate Finance becomes shareholder of Translink | Yorkshire Deals News

The corporate finance division of the accounting firm BHP has become a shareholder in the global consultancy group specializing in mergers and acquisitions Translink Corporate Finance.

BHP Corporate Finance initially partnered with Translink as the UK member of its network of M&A advisors over two years ago. The strengthened relationship was said to reflect the value the alliance has brought in such a short time.

Translink has a team of more than 600 experts in 30 different countries, specializing in advising private and public companies, private equity firms and entrepreneurs on mergers and acquisitions, fundraising and IPOs.

BHP is one of two UK-based member firms that work daily with Translink colleagues to complete mid-market M&A transactions.

Hamish Morrison, Partner at BHP Corporate Finance, said: “Since joining Translink Corporate Finance in 2019, we have seen the huge difference the network makes. The breadth of expertise within Translink along with the strength of local relationships with corporate buyers around the world has greatly enhanced our ability to do business globally.

“Cross-border transactions have always been a key part of the service we provide at BHP Corporate Finance, and being part of Translink has allowed us to significantly enhance our international scale and reach while offering truly transparent corporate finance advice. .”
