Dow Schofield Watts has expanded its corporate finance team in Aberdeen with the appointment of Ross Irvine as Deputy Director.
Irvine, who previously worked on PwC’s audit team, has six years’ experience in finance. Having started his career at Henderson Loggie, he was one of the first Scottish students to qualify as a Chartered Accountant through the apprenticeship scheme.
The Aberdeen office of Dow Schofield Watts was established in September 2019 by Tom Faichnie and Melanie Clark, who were later joined by Bridget Erekaife as Deputy Manager.
The company also has offices in Manchester, Leeds, London and Reading.
Tom Faichnie, who leads the team in Aberdeen, said: “We are delighted to welcome Ross to our growing team. It will provide an additional resource to help us take advantage of the post-Covid recovery and new opportunities we are seeing, not just in Scotland, but across the UK and internationally.
“Dow Schofield Watts is already established as a leading mid-market consultancy in Scotland and we continue to invest in our team and build our presence in line with our longer-term ambitions.”
