Business consultancy firm FRP has appointed five new directors, as part of a larger promotion cycle of 26 people across the UK.
The trio of James Cooper, Matt Field and Ryan Symonds were promoted to director of the company’s Corporate Finance team, while Matt Whitchurch and Stuart Sweeney were promoted to director of the debt advisory and restructuring practice.
James cooper joined FRP in 2020 and is based in the Norwich office. He has specialized in corporate finance work since 2012, providing a range of services including M&A advice, valuation and capital raising for businesses and business owners at all stages. of the transaction lifecycle.
Mat Field has extensive experience providing corporate, personal and owner-managed business transaction tax advice on a wide range of matters including MBOs, business divestitures, private equity investments, and corporate trusts. employee shareholding. His other areas of expertise include family-owned investment companies, employee incentive plans and group reorganizations, including spin-offs.
Ryan symonds joined FRP in 2020 and provides expert advice on a full range of corporate finance matters including business divestitures, acquisitions, private equity investments, business buyouts and strategic option reviews. Symonds has particular knowledge of private equity structures.
Matt whitchurch is a qualified accountant with many years of experience in restructuring and transactional services assignments in a wide range of industries. Whitchurch, who has been with FRP since 2018, has experience conducting independent business reviews, short-term cash flow reviews, option reviews, merger and acquisition engagements and the management of formal appointments in insolvency matters.
Stuart sweeney joined FRP this year and is based in the London West End office. Before joining FRP, he was an associate director of a specialist consulting firm and held various positions in two major banks. Having worked in the industry since 2012, Sweeney has extensive experience in the field, with a focus on the leveraged finance segment.
