Marina Mena is a Director in the Madrid office and is part of the Corporate Finance practice. She has over 18 years of professional experience in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory.

Prior to joining Kroll, Marina was a Director at Forest Partners, a position she held from September 2013 until February 2019, when Forest Partners was acquired by Kroll. Before that, she worked in M&A at Lincoln International and in corporate finance at KPMG.

Marina has a solid experience in mergers and acquisitions, both in the origination and execution of purchase and sale mandates for financial and strategic investors, as well as in economic evaluations, viability studies and strategic analysis for business development. Her international experience is based on her life and work in Ireland and Portugal, where she was involved in several project finance and transaction services assignments.

Over the past five years, she has been involved in various restructuring mandates, including coordinating the cross-border sale of various business units and subsidiaries of La Seda de Barcelona, ​​with a total value of nearly $1 billion. euros in the context of insolvency proceedings. affecting the Spanish chemical group.

Marina completed a degree in business administration and actuarial science, doctoral studies in financial economics and postgraduate studies at IE Business School.
