A trio of new talents have joined an award-winning Welsh corporate finance firm as part of its ongoing commitment to identifying and developing new talent to strengthen its existing team.
Adam Jones, Charlie Lesbirel and Jade Burgess all joined Cardiff-based Lexington Corporate Finance this year after a 2020 that saw the company experience record growth, despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
Mr Jones, 25, joins the team as an executive after three years at Deloitte, during which time he rose through the ranks to become deputy director in the Cardiff office.
A 2018 graduate of Cardiff University with a first class in accounting and finance, Mr Jones is also qualified as an accountant by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). His role will be to support the team in carrying out business transfers and business buyouts by the estate.
At the same time, Mr. Lesbirel, 23, joined the firm as part of the Cardiff Capital Region Graduate Program. With a master’s degree in finance and investment management from the University of Liverpool, he will study to become a chartered accountant alongside his role as a partner at Lexington.
The nomination duo closely follow Ms Burgess, 23, another masters student and postgraduate program member – this time from Swansea University – who joined the firm in May 2021.

The latest hire brings the number of employees to 11, many of whom come from graduate programs. This includes John Tose, who joined Santander’s graduate program in July 2016 as an associate and quickly rose to a leadership position.
The hires follow a 2020 that saw Lexington’s fee revenue nearly double year-over-year, while the company has seen recent success with Dealmakers Award wins and a listing. annual Welsh Fast Growth 50.
